• Extra French (A1–A2)—a sitcom parody that’s perfect for beginners;

• Bref (B1–C2)—a short, fast-paced comedy about a man struggling through the chaos of everyday life;

• Bloqués (B1–C2)—two friends sitting on a sofa doing absolutely nothing except chatting about random topics—perfect for informal French and slang.

• You’ll even find dubbed versions of international series, which can be easier to follow if you already know the story.

Francophone movies on YouTube

If you’re looking for full French movies on YouTube, try searching on Google: “film français sur youtube gratuit”, you’d be surprised by how many results you can find!

There’s a huge amount of content available on YouTube—some better than others 😅—but at the very least, it’ll get you listening to more French! Here are a few places to start:

• A comedy channel for when you need a laugh;

• Thought-provoking films and documentaries on the ARTE channel;

• Some romantic movies in the world's sexiest language!

Kanopy or Beamafilm: Free streaming with your library card
